This was the school’s first year working with a literacy specialist from Literacy Strategies Consulting. They chose to focus on writing instruction for their ELL students in grades K-4.
In 10 days of professional learning they wrote and began to implement a structured writing curriculum utilizing strategies from The Writing Strategies Book.
