Tiffany neal

literacy specialist

Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and later a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. She began her career as a classroom teacher and quickly moved into instructional leadership roles. Over the past two decades, she’s served as a literacy coach, writing coordinator, curriculum designer, and K–5 Literacy Coordinator for a large district in Texas. In her current role, she leads district-wide implementation of structured literacy, develops curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading, and mentors educators as they deepen their practice.

As a certified EC–8 educator with an ESL endorsement, she brings a broad perspective to her work, always striving to meet the diverse needs of learners through responsive, inclusive teaching. In addition to her district role and work as member of Jennifer Serravallo’s team, she also provides professional development for another organization supporting educators in implementing evidence-based phonics instruction, and runs a local tutoring business.

This year, a lifelong dream of becoming a published author will come true—a milestone that reflects her deep commitment to literacy, access, and student voice.
