Chapter 13 Student Cards for The Reading Strategies Book 2.0: Writing about Reading
You’ve been asking…so I made them! These student cards help students stay focused on the strategy you taught them during independent and partner work time. Each strategy card has been adapted from the strategy steps and chart available in Chapter 13 of The Reading Strategies Book 2.0 with student-friendly visuals and simple language to help them remember each “how to” to support their goal. This packet comes with:
12 pages of printable/reproducible student cards. Print on cardstock, hole punch, and use rings, or put sticky notes on the template (included) and feed through a copy machine or printer
a 5 page introduction explaining how to use them in your classroom quickly and easily
a blank template for printing the cards on sticky notes
one full page and one bookmark-style student form for storing post-its aligned to their goals
